What is YellowHammers U23? We are Alabama's newest Pathway to the Pro's. We provide high level coaching, challenging training, and competitive games to give our players the best chance of reaching the next level.
Who are the coaches? Mike Getman is the former Head Coach of UAB Men's Soccer. He brings 40+ years of Division I experience. He is a member of the Indiana Soccer Hall of Fame.
Nathan Getman is our GK Coach. He brings many years of experience including stops at East Tennessee State Univ, Oglethorpe Univ. and Georgia Southwestern State Univ. This fall he will be the Goalkeeper Coach at the University of Memphis.
Jaiquan Crook is our Athletic Performance Coach. He brings many years of experience in developing soccer athleticism. He has worked with UAB, Lifetime Fitness, and Hoover-Vestavia Soccer.
